Below you will find the training requirements for MRC members at each level. Classes can be taken in any order by the member. However classes that are held off-site will require that the MRC member has met the minimum requirements to be in the level of membership that the course is held for the course to be at no cost to the member. For example no member will be sent to receive free CPR or First Aid training without completing all of the courses for the Basic Member.
Basic Member
- IS-100.b Introduction to Incident Command System (Online FEMA Course)
- Citizen's Emergency Response Team (CERT) Certification (Online and Classroom Course)
- Members please note that you do not need to do the class all in one sitting. It may be completed piecemeal. Also if you attended the training by James Bender when the MRC was first created you may just take the test and print the certificate. http://www.citizencorps.gov/cert/IS317/
